Haunted Hotel Room in Groveland
Room 115 is home to our resident ghost, Lyle. He died of natural causes during his gold panning days in this room in 1927, leaving a box of dynamite under the bed at our hotel in Groveland! His spirit continues to roam the hotel at will. Guests and staff alike have many “Lyle stories” to share. He’s become quite famous over the years, garnering the interest of many paranormal investigation groups. Lyle's biggest issue is with women’s cosmetics left on his dresser – he will sometimes move them to the sink or knock them to the floor. The room is furnished with a mirrored English armoire, marble topped night stands, and an exquisitely-carved French bed. This bay window room is done in shades of blue denim, a nod to Lyle’s typical miner’s outfit. For a haunted hotel experience in Groveland, you’ll need to stay in Lyle’s Room!
