Guest Policies

Pet-Friendly Hotel in Groveland

We know you have options when it comes to hotels in Groveland, California and to make sure you have the best stay possible if you select The Groveland Hotel, we invite you to review our hotel and guest policies.

RATES:

Room and suite rates are based on double occupancy and include an Innkeeper’s Breakfast served at The Groveland Hotel. Additional charges include $20 per night, per guest. A 10% Occupancy Room Tax and $4.50 per night energy surcharge also apply.

CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT TIMES:

We ask that guests check in between 4 p.m. and 9 p.m. If you are planning on arriving later than 9 p.m., please let us know so that we can make arrangements to provide you with after-hours access. Our check out time is 11 a.m.

CHILDREN & INFANTS:

There is a $20 charge per night, per child over two years.

PETS:

We love pets, so yours are welcome at The Groveland Hotel in rooms 105, 106, 107, 108, 109 and 110.  We charge a fee of $20 per night.

DEPOSIT AND PAYMENT TERMS:

To secure your reservation, we do charge the first night’s stay as the deposit at the time of booking. The remaining balance will be charged at check-in.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

We understand that sometimes your travel plans will change. Please let us know seven or more days before your arrival date if you need to make any changes to your reservation. If you do need to cancel, there is a $30 processing fee per room. If you cancel less than seven days of your stay date, you will forfeit your deposit.   

CELL PHONES:

There is very limited cell phone reception in Groveland. We offer free long distance calls to anywhere in the USA from the phone in your hotel room. If you need to make an international call, please purchase a calling card.

ROOM SELECTION:

We make every effort to keep you in the room you have chosen, however there are times when we do have to move guests around. If this happens, you will receive a room equal in size, price, and amenities.  On occasion, you may even be upgraded for no additional charge.

LOST & FOUND:

We are sure that you would prefer to not leave items behind, but know from our own traveling experiences that it can happen. If you have lost something somewhere along your trip, give us a call and if it is in our lost and found box, we will gladly mail it back to you for the cost of postage and a $10 handling fee.

SMOKING:

Smoking is permitted outside only (not in any guest rooms or inside the buildings). A $250 cleaning fee will be charged for violation of this policy. This applies to all types of smoking and smoke-producing substances, including medical marijuana, cigars, and incense.
