Lyle’s Room

Our most popular room!  Room 115 was home to our resident ghost, Lyle, during his goldpanning days.  He died of natural causes in this room in 1927, leaving a box of dynamite under the bed – tools of the trade! His spirit continues to roam the hotel at will.  Guests and staff alike have many “Lyle stories” to share.  He’s actually become quite famous over the years, garnering interest of many paranormal investigation groups, with many videos on You Tube and other locations on the Internet.  His biggest issue is with women’s cosmetics left on his dresser – he will sometimes move them to the sink or knock them to the floor.  The room is furnished with a mirrored English armoire, marble topped night stands and an exquisitely-carved French bed.  This bay window room is done in shades of blue denim, a nod to Lyle’s typical miner’s outfit.
