~ An Evening of Wine Tasting ~

Are you ever stuck for words when you try to describe the flavor of a wine?What can you say when you don't smell the berries and can't taste the spice? According to the experts, you can relax and let your mind wander to places, experiences, music and even cars to express yourself. If a Merlot can be described as "pajama-soft" and a bold red Zinfandel as "a brazen first date," then use the pictures and memories that stir your senses with the first taste on your tongue. Who knows maybe your comparison to that midnight drive in the blue convertible will take the conversation down new and enticing lanes.

Come practice your new skills in describing wines at the Groveland Hotel on the 2nd and 4th Friday nights of each month at 6:00 PM. Let Oenophile Peggy Mosley lead you into an evening of Wine Tasting. Learning about wines is an enjoyable experience and she just may take you down into the historic wine cellars! $14 per person is a great deal for an evening's entertainment.

Every Third Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM is Ladies Night Out at the Groveland Hotel! Chef Greg Lutes offers his personal invitation to all women of the appropriate vintage ~ 21 years minimum ~ to enjoy complimentary hors d'Oeuvres and Drink Specials. So whether you are a wild woman, a princess or a queen come join the party on the third Wednesday evening of the month from October through March 2008! Full Dinner menu is available for your dining pleasure.
