Brief History

The original adobe Groveland Hotel was constructed in 1849 and was modeled after the Larkin House in Monterey. At the height of the Gold Rush, it was known as "The Best House on the Hill." This landmark Yosemite hotel, restaurant and saloon are fully restored to retain the 19th-century character with modern upgrades including WiFi access throughout the property.
